One of the many Sony movies to hit Netflix during the first pay period is not mapped and we've finally been told that it will drop on service in July 2022, specifically on July 15th. That date has now arrived, and unfortunately Netflix's US release has been delayed to August 2022. However, it is now streaming on Netflix India.
Based on the PlayStation video games that have released several entries over the past decade, the film saw Tom Holland take on the role of Nathan Drake, a legendary fortune hunter.
The film was a hit for Sony early in the year, grossing over $400 million at the box office.
In addition to Holland, Mark Wahlberg played the iconic role of Sully, Sophia Taylor Ali as Chloe and Tati Gabrielle as Braddock.

Sony released not mapped in theaters on February 18, 2022 (although originally slated for July 2021 and recently postponed again from February 11 to February 18).
When will not mapped be on Netflix?
Netflix is getting Uncharted in the United States thanks to the newly signed Sony deal in 2021. All Sony cinema films are coming to Netflix in the pay-1 window.
It is not yet clear how long this pay-1 window is. It's thought to be somewhere between 120 and 200 days from its theater release.
In June, we received confirmation that the film would be coming to Netflix exactly 119 days after its theatrical release and will be released on Netflix on July 15, 2022.

Unfortunately, we learned that Netflix is not getting not mapped on July 15. It now appears that there is a delay of more than a month.
An updated post on the not mapped page now states that not mapped does not arrive on Netflix until August 19, 2022.
We've reached out to Netflix for comment on why the delay occurred.

Netflix India will not be affected by this delay as the film will be available from July 12, 2022.
Once Netflix eventually gets the movie, they'll have to wear the movie for 18 months before leaving the service for Disney's various range of services (in this case, we're guessing it'll be on Hulu).
That means the film will not be allowed to leave the service in early 2024.
Get other Netflix regions not mapped?
At this time, we are not aware of an additional deal for other Netflix regions outside the United States.
However, many regions currently have second window rights to Sony's output. That would mean you'd see the film added in late 2023 or early 2024.
We've also released date estimates for a few other Sony movies set to hit Netflix in the US as part of the expanded new deal, including morbius (which will be the second theatrical film to arrive as part of the deal) and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2.
